We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
• Support students with learning, engagement and independence.
• Work closely with teachers and the SEN team.
• Assist students with physical/mobility needs where required.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate – essential.
• School-based experience desirable.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a supportive Outstanding secondary school.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy
