Agricultural Sales Representative

About the Role

Our client seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Agricultural Sales Representative to cover the Randburg, Gauteng region and surrounding agricultural areas. This role involves promoting and selling a range of agricultural products, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and equipment, to farmers and agricultural businesses. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions that enhance their farming operations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets for agricultural products and services.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients in the agricultural sector.
• Understand client needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and technical support.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our client’s offerings.
• Manage sales pipeline, prepare quotes, and process orders efficiently.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new agricultural technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in agricultural sales or a related field, with a strong understanding of farming practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with farmers and agricultural professionals.
• Knowledge of various agricultural products, such as fertilizers , crop protection chemicals, and seeds.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
