Warehouse Packing Operative
Location:OL4, Lees, Borough of OldhamWorking Hours:Monday–Thursday 8:00am–16:30pm. Friday 8:00am–13:30pmPay:£12.71 per hour Paid Weekly
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworkingWarehouse Contract Packing Operatives.
This is a hands-on warehouse role involving the packing, labelling, sorting and preparation of a variety of different products. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or packing experience and be comfortable working in a busy environment where attention to detail and a good work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing a variety of different products
- Labelling products accurately
- Shrink wrapping and preparing products for dispatch
- Sorting products according to specific requirements
- Checking products for quality and accuracy
- Keeping the packing and work areas clean and organised
- Following health, safety and company procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a team
Skills & Experience Required
- Previouswarehouse, packing or production experience
- Experience withlabelling and shrink wrapping
- Good sorting and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working with a variety of different products
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Important Information
The role involves sorting and packing awide range of different products, including animal-feed products.
Some of the work may involve handling and sorting animal by-products, includinganimal feet, as part of the packing and sorting process.
Applicants must be comfortable working with these types of products and handling them as part of their normal duties.
Working Hours & Breaks
Monday to Thursday:8:00am – 4:30pmFriday:8:00am – 13:30pm
Breaks include:
- 30-minute unpaid break
- 15-minute paid break
- 10-minute paid break
