Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised Local Governing Committee Clerk / Governance Professional to support effective governance across The Collegiate Trust. This part-time role is ideal for a skilled administrator looking to extend their working hours, with attendance required at evening meetings, typically between 5-8pm.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You will be a confident communicator, able to build positive working relationships and handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience in clerking or governance is desirable but not essential; however, a commitment to accuracy, organisation and high standards is key, with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.

The Collegiate Trust

The Collegiate Trust is a family of 9 schools, primary and secondary, located in the Croydon and Crawley areas, educating children and young people from 3-19 years of age with a clear vision to deliver exceptional education for all. The Central Team is mainly based at the founding school of the Trust, Riddlesdown Collegiate: a large, outstanding (OFSTED, March 2023) secondary school in Croydon with a longstanding reputation for high standards and an exceptional education.
