Labourer/ Operative

We are currently recruiting for aLabourer / Operativeto join our local client’s friendly, close-knit team.

This is a great temporary to permanent opportunity for someone who ishands-on, reliable and willing to get stuck in. The role is varied, with the successful candidate getting involved in a range of yard, delivery and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning and maintenance of the yard.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Taking and receiving deliveries as required.
• Operating acounterbalance FLT.
• Basic machine operating.
• Moving and organising materials around the site.
• Assisting colleagues with general labouring and operational tasks.
• Getting involved in other duties across the site as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

About You

• Previous experience operating acounterbalance FLT is essential.
• In-house FLT licences are accepted.
• Previous labouring, yard or machine operating experience is desirable.
• A practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Someone who is happy toget stuck in and help wherever needed.
• Able to work well as part of a close-knit team.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
