Associate – Residential Property – Swindon – 3+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will manage a broad residential property caseload and provide commercially focused legal advice, working closely with clients and partners. You will develop client relationships, support business development, and contribute to the team’s success within a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of conveyancing and transactional matters
• Provide high-quality, commercially oriented legal advice
• Take instructions from clients and manage expectations
• Prepare documentation and support partners on complex matters
• Scope and price work with partner input
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Build personal profile as a Residential Property lawyer
• Support business development and attend networking events
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and build internal referrals
• Assist with time recording, WIP and billing, and align work with KPIs

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx with strong residential property experience
• Previous experience in a Residential Property team
• Strong client and project management skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritise
• Confident working in a small, collaborative team
• Commercially aware with excellent client service
