Director of Income Generation

Evora Hospice Care is entering an exciting period of development. As we deliver a new organisational strategy and prepare for a significant capital development project, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Director of Income Generation.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will develop and lead an ambitious income generation strategy that delivers sustainable growth and supports the future expansion of our hospice services.
The role in brief:
- Diversify and grow income from individual giving, philanthropy, major donors, trusts and foundations.
- Maximise income from community fundraising, events, lottery, legacies and corporate partnerships.
- Support the delivery of Evoras Capital Fundraising Appeal.
- Build strong relationships with donors, funders, partners and community stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the Income Generation team.
- Use data, financial planning and market insight to drive performance and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure high standards of governance, compliance and ethical fundraising.
About you:
You will be an experienced senior leader with a strong track record of:
- Developing and delivering successful income generation, fundraising or business growth strategies.
- Achieving sustainable income growth and developing new revenue streams.
- Building influential relationships and securing support from donors, funders or partners.
- Leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Managing budgets, targets, forecasts and performance.
- Turning strategic vision into measurable results.
You will bring strong commercial judgement, excellent communication and influencing skills, and an innovative, results-focused approach. You must also share Evoras values of Dignity, Compassion, Integrity, Innovation, Excellence and Equality.
The role involves travel and flexible working. A valid driving licence and access to transport are required, subject to reasonable adjustments for disabled applicants.
