Lyons Racing is a historic race team built around a winning mentality, and we’re looking for our next Number One Mechanic — the person who takes full ownership of car preparation and race operations, front to back. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of a small, competitive outfit where the quality of the work is what wins races.
You’ll cover everything from meticulous winter builds through to trackside decision-making under pressure, working on cars spanning six decades of racing history — from 1960s F1 and sports racers through to current-era GT machinery.

Equally comfortable running a job solo in the workshop and working as part of the wider race team.
Location & travel
Based in Essex, with travel to events across the trackside calendar — workshop-based build and preparation, and trackside event work required.

Licence
HGV licence preferred but not essential.
Compensation
