CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a market‑leading organisation in the appointment of an Interim Senior Financial Controller to provide cover during a key period of transition within the finance function.
This is a senior interim opportunity offering immediate impact, significant stakeholder exposure and ownership of complex financial reporting, year-end and audit activities.
Role responsibilities
- Leading the Group consolidation and financial reporting process, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of reported financial information across multiple entities
- Acting as a key technical accounting contact, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and responding to senior stakeholder and auditor queries
- Supporting a demanding year-end timetable and audit process, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external auditors
Candidate profile
- Fully qualified accountant with a strong technical accounting background
- Demonstrable experience of Group consolidations within a large or complex business environment
- Confident communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders and operating effectively within a fast-paced and highly visible role

Opportunity available on either a day-rate or fixed-term contract basis
Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in the office
Day rate achieved will be dependent on experience
