Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate Finance Manager.

This is one of many roles we are currently recruiting for

Essential Requirements

• Must be a fully qualified accountant and be basically, a hands-on technical accountant that will also have all the responsibility for all corporate finance items
• Must have sufficient and recent experience in District and Borough Councils
• For the first couple of weeks will need to be on site in Rugby probably for at least 4 days each week – so that they can understand what is going and to meet all the relevant people
• After that it will need a weekly on site presence of 2 or 3 days – depending on business need
• Inside IR35
• This is not a ‘just manage’ – it’s very many hands on

Including responsibility for and possibly doing:

• Production of the statement of accounts
• External Audit
• VAT
• CIS returns
• Fixed Asset Register
• Accounts Payable
• Treasury Management and Banking
• Cash Flow
• Delta returns
• WGA
• Anything and everything else that needs doing
