Interim Project Finance Analyst

Interim finance project analyst – Technology company – 6 months initially with the potential to extend to 12 months – Day rate – 2 days in Vauxhall per week

Role Purpose

Support the delivery of the Group-wide Rate Card & Pricing Methodology initiative, working with Finance and Commercial teams across the regions to assess current pricing practices, develop a consistent methodology and support the implementation of updated rate cards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a current-state assessment of existing rate cards, pricing methodologies and processes across Business Units.
• Analyse and compare rates, pricing structures, labour categories, services and asset classifications across regions to identify inconsistencies and opportunities.
• Work with regional Finance and Commercial teams to understand how existing rates are calculated, maintained and applied.
• Support the development of a common Group pricing methodology and standard rate-card framework, while recognising appropriate local market differences.
• Support Business Units in reviewing, updating and implementing their rate cards in line with the agreed methodology.
• Perform financial and commercial analysis to assess the impact of proposed pricing changes and identify potential margin improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain project trackers, pricing databases and supporting analysis across the regional rollout.
• Support the development of ongoing rate-card governance, including ownership, approval processes, periodic reviews and update requirements.
• Track implementation and key KPIs, including rate-card rollout and utilisation.
• Prepare clear analysis and materials for senior Finance and Commercial stakeholders.

Experience / Skills

• Strong financial and commercial analytical skills, ideally within FP&A, Commercial Finance or Pricing.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience analysing large and inconsistent datasets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with Finance, Commercial and operational teams.
• Ability to work independently across multiple Business Units and geographies.
• Pricing, profitability or commercial modelling experience would be advantageous.
