They are looking for a Real Estate Finance Solicitor with (3+ PQE) to join their fast-paced and highly respected team, acting on a broad range of high-value property finance transactions for an impressive lender, investor and developer client base.

This prominent firm has exciting growth plans over the next few years. Their current turnover is £21 million, with projected growth to £23 million next year. They are forecasting a further 18% growth year on year and are well placed to continue exceeding this.
They currently house 200 staff, of which 150 are Solicitors and Partners. As a firm they like to grow organically and promote from within, and there are multiple examples and success stories, including an individual who joined the firm as a trainee and is now a director over the course of 5 years.
They are a multi-service practice, with a particularly strong Real Estate offering, which underpins many of the firm’s wider practice areas. They punch well above their weight, with their main competitors impressively including a number of Top 50 firms.

The Role
They are looking for a Real Estate Finance Solicitor (3+ PQE) to play a key role within their highly regarded London practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take ownership of complex and high-value transactions, build long-term client relationships and become a key figure in the continued growth of a thriving Real Estate Finance team.
You will deal with a broad range of work that, among other areas, will include:
- Leading on a varied caseload of acquisitions, investment finance, bridging finance and development finance transactions from instruction through to completion
- Acting as a principal point of contact for lender panel clients, investors, developers and associated professionals, building strong long-term relationships
- Advising on transaction structuring, risk management and commercially pragmatic solutions across complex finance matters
- Managing matters proactively and efficiently, ensuring high standards of technical quality, compliance and client service throughout
- Supporting and supervising junior lawyers, providing guidance, mentoring and technical oversight where appropriate
- Playing an active role in business development, networking and strengthening the team’s market presence
- Working closely with Partners on strategic client relationships, key accounts and departmental growth initiatives
- Managing multiple high-value matters simultaneously, consistently delivering under tight deadlines with a calm and commercial approach
Requirements:
- You will be a Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
- You will have strong experience in Real Estate Finance / Property Finance gained from a quality firm
- You will be confident running complex transactions with minimal supervision
- You will have excellent technical ability and strong commercial awareness
- You will be relationship-driven, with the ability to build trust with sophisticated lender and investor clients
- You will have an interest in business development and mentoring junior lawyers
- You will be highly organised, calm under pressure and comfortable managing a demanding caseload
