A leading private investment group is hiring a Development Manager to lead a high‑performing, multi‑skilled engineering team delivering secure, cloud‑native business solutions across AWS. You’ll work across a modern stack including TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, and contribute directly to evolving the group’s technical architecture. What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor a small team of software and data engineers.
- Design and deliver cloud‑native solutions in line with group objectives.
- Stay hands‑on across coding, code reviews, and architecture.
- Drive DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and citizen developers to scale impact across the business.
What we’re looking for
- Experience leading engineering teams while remaining technically hands‑on.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python, with working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD.
- Exposure to React, Databricks, Snowflake, or Spark desirable.
- Interest in ML/GenAI applications and modern DevSecOps tooling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
