AninterestingprojectroleatanestablishedBankbasedinCentralLondonthatcanbepaidasInsideorOutsideIR35.Youmusthaverelevantexperiencein Bankingandbeaqualifiedaccountanttobeconsidered.
Theprojectistoreviewthecurrentprocessesandidentifygaps,overlapsand controlweaknesses.Youwillthendevelopstandardreconciliationtemplatesand controlsandberesponsibleforcreatingaclearend-to-endframeworkfor accountownership.Thisincludesestablishingrobustreconciliationprocedures,andensuringbuy-infromkeystakeholdersanddepartments.
Inaddition,therolewillsupportthepreparationofyear-endIFRSstatutory accounts.

- Performphysicalreconciliationsofaccountsandresolvediscrepancies.
- Designnewcontrolstoreduceoperationalrisks.
- Partnerwithstakeholdersacrossthebank
- Documentworkflowsandmapprocesschangesclearly.
- Providetrainingandguidanceandfacilitateworkshopsacrossmultipledepartments
- Assistwithyearendauditpreparation
- Driveprojectbuy-inacrossdiversebankingdepartments.
SkillsandExperiencerequired
- ACAorCAqualification(orequivalent)
- 7+yearsoffinancialcontrolexperience
- Bankingexperienceisessentialforthisrole.
- Experienceinyear-endIFRSstatutoryaccountspreparation
- Provenstakeholdermanagementskillsataseniorexecutivelevel.
- Abilitytoinfluenceandchallengenon-financeteams.
- Canworkindependently,managemultipleworkstreams
- Availableimmediatelyonorashortnoticeperiod.
