Description
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of resources to meet operational targets.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to maximise productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead and support the logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
- Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to align logistics operations with company objectives.
- Manage budgets and control costs within the logistics department.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- Experience in logistics or operational management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Will have worked in a complex processing environment
- Chemical, waste or other heavily regulated industrial experience would be a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations is essential
- The ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively with a knowledge on controlling varying costs across and environment
Job Offer
- Salary between £57,000 and £65,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- 3% to 5% pension contribution.
