Our client is a leading specialist consultancy within the payments industry, recognised for delivering high-quality insight and strategic advice working with some of the most innovative global retailers, banks, acquirers, and payment providers.
About You
You are an experiencedpayments professionalwith extensive experienceand a deep understanding of the financial drivers that underpin the payments ecosystem. You come from afinancial or analytical background, ideally with anaccountancy qualificationor equivalent finance credentials.
You have hands‑on experience withcard scheme data(Visa, Mastercard), particularly aroundscheme fees and pricing structures, and are comfortable working with data from issuers, acquirers, or directly from the schemes.
Day to day you will :
- Build and maintainfinancial modelsand conductdata analysis.
- Research and synthesisemarket and competitive intelligence.
- Develop and deliverclient presentationsand project reports.
- Coordinate projectsacross internal and client teams.
- Maintain shared data and analytical resources used across projects.
- Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base and thought leadership.
To be successful in the role, you must be :
- A payments or financial servicesprofessional with 8+ years industry experience
- A Card scheme expertincludingscheme fee and pricing analysis
- Highly analytical with advancedExcelandPowerPointskills.
- Methodical and detail‑oriented in your approach to work.
- Capable of communicating complex findings clearly and visually through presentations.
- Motivated by delivering high‑quality insight and value to clients.
- Strongfinancial or accounting background(ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
