Process Engineer – Clean Energy TechnologyWe are hiring for an innovative clean energy technology company developing next-generation solutions for the global alternative energy market. They focus on taking emerging technologies from development through to industrial-scale, commercially viable deployment.We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in South Yorkshire. You will work across technology development, engineering, operations and customers, helping turn innovative concepts into safe, scalable and commercially effective processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop process concepts, flowsheets, mass and energy balances and process designs.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend the best technical and commercial approach.
• Translate R&D and experimental results into scalable industrial processes.
• Support technology scale-up, process safety, commissioning and commercialisation.
• Work with customers and external partners to develop integrated technical solutions.
• Contribute to techno-economic assessments and engineering documentation.

About you

• BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in process engineering, process development, plant design or industrial R&D.
• Strong understanding of process design, scale-up and process safety.
• Analytical, pragmatic and comfortable working with emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills and able to work across technical and commercial teams.
• Experience with hazardous gases/pressure systems, HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA or technology commercialisation is desirable.
