Echocardiographer Job Description

• Speciality -Echocardiographer
• Location -Milton Keynes
• Start date – ASAP
• Contract Length -Ongoing
• Pay rate – £50-55 per hour
• Candidates should have strong recent experience within a hospital-based cardiology/echo service and be confident working autonomously within their scope of practice.

The Role

• Delivery of inpatient and outpatient echocardiography, undertaking high-quality diagnostic studies and reporting findings in line with local and national standards.
• Supporting Cardiac MRI lists and the wider cardiac diagnostic pathway.
• Supporting pacemaker/device review clinics, subject to competency and local service requirements.
• Working collaboratively with Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists and the wider MDT to support efficient patient pathways and timely diagnostics.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and escalating significant or unexpected findings appropriately.

Requirements

• 2 years post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
