Hours: 39 hours per week (8am – 5pm Mon-Thu, 8am -1pm Fri. May consider 34 hours, Monday – Thursday)

Days: Monday – Friday ( may consider Monday – Thursday)

Duration: Permanent

Duties

• Lead building surveying commissions across commercial, residential and public sector assets.
• Prepare professional reports, specifications and schedules of work.
• Undertake condition surveys, defect analysis and compliance reviews.
• Act as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent on a range of projects.
• Support project delivery from feasibility through to completion.
• Provide technical oversight and peer review for less experienced colleagues.
• Contribute to the development of standards, templates and quality systems.
• Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, quantity surveyors and asset specialists.

Experience

• MRICS qualified Building Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of construction technology and building pathology.
• Experience delivering contract administration and project work.
• Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills.
• Commercial awareness and practical problem-solving ability.

Salary

£58 – 62,000 per annum
