Nigel Wright have been engaged to recruit a commercially focussed Senior Management Accountant based in South Manchester. The successful individual will be joining a high-growth, venture capital backed business that have been acquired within the last 24 months. The organisation are now entering an ambitious buy-and-build phase with significant investment and a strong appetite for growth.
The Role
The Senior Management Accountant role will sit within the central finance function and will report directly to a highly regarded and supportive Finance Director. The successful candidate will gain exposure across the business and play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making during a period of transformation and expansion. Due to the make up of this business this role will ideally suit an individual with small / mid sized practice experience who’s looking to go into industry for the first time OR has 1 to 2 years exposure to industry
Specific duties relating to the role include
- Assist with month-end reporting with full ownership of management accounts
- Deliver improved financial controls and processes across the finance division
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting
