About the role
Agincare is looking for a talented and fully qualified Senior Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact across a growing organisation.
This role is based full time in our Southampton office.
Responsibilities
- Managing the monthend process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for performance movements
- Preparing monthly financial performance reports, KPIs, and adhoc analysis for senior stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring junior accounting staff, helping to develop capability and best practice
- Collaborating with department heads on budgeting and forecasting aligned to strategic goals
- Monitoring business costs and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance
- Ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal processes
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting
Qualifications
- Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
- 23 years experience in management accounting
- Experience in a senior or supervisory role
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Confident communicator able to present financial information to nonfinancial colleagues
- Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A collaborative, professional approach and commitment to high standards
