Underwriter – Medical Malpractice (Global Markets – Non-US)

London (Hybrid)

I am looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Underwriter to join and help grow a highly successful portfolio across the UK and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an underwriter with a strong technical background in Med Mal—or an ambitious Assistant Underwriter ready to step up.

Requirements

• Experience underwriting Medical Malpractice risks.
• Ability to identify strategic growth areas and protect portfolio profitability.
• Proven ability to develop and grow a book of business.
• Excellent technical underwriting capability.
• Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated.

Preferred Skills

• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and marketing skills.
• Progress toward CII qualifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage competing priorities.
• Accurate, diligent, and highly organised.
