ThebusinessisrecruitinganEmbeddedSoftwareEngineertosupportamajorvehicledevelopmentprogramme,replacinganexistingplatformwithanewelectricvehicleplatform.
Youwilldevelopandintegrateproduction-intentembeddedsoftware,turningstakeholderrequirementsintovehiclefunctionalityandcontrolsystems.Thisisahands-onengineeringrolecoveringmodel-baseddevelopment,softwareimplementation,systemsintegration,verificationandvehicletesting.
YouwillworkwithMATLAB/Simulink,EmbeddedC/C++andvehiclecommunicationtechnologies,supportingthesoftwarethroughmodel,software,hardware-in-the-loopandvehicle-basedtesting.Thepositionalsooffersinvolvementinvehiclecommissioning,calibration,functionalsafetyandembeddedcybersecurity.
KeyResponsibilities
- Developembeddedcontrolsoftwareforanelectricvehicleapplication.
- UseMATLAB/Simulinkandmodel-baseddevelopmenttechniquestoimplementvehiclefunctionality.
- Translatestakeholderrequirementsintoproduction-qualityembeddedsoftware.
- Integratesoftwareintoanewvehicleplatformandsupportproductiondeployment.
- Usesoftwareverificationtoolstoassesscodecoverageandsoftwarestructure.
- Implementandexecuteteststhatdemonstratecompliancewithdefinedrequirements.
- Supportmodel-in-the-loop,software-in-the-loop,hardware-in-the-loopandvehicletesting.
- Assistwithvehiclecommissioning,calibrationanddebugging.
- Contributetofunctionalsafetyandcybersecurityanalysis,implementationandtesting.
- Workwiththewiderengineeringteamtomeettight,project-drivendeadlines.
