The Opportunity
We’re supporting a major enterprise technology programme seeking an experienced Azure DevSecOps Engineer to take ownership of cloud platform, release management and deployment activities.
This is a hands-on contract opportunity where you’ll act as the technical lead for Azure DevOps and platform operations, helping drive secure software delivery, automation and operational excellence across a complex cloud environment.
You’ll work closely with development, infrastructure, security and testing teams to build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, improve release processes and ensure reliable, secure and scalable platform services.

What You’ll Be Doing as an Azure DevOps Engineer
- Designing, building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Automating build, test, deployment and release processes
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates
- Embedding security controls throughout the software development xwwtmva lifecycle
- Integrating vulnerability scanning, code quality checks and compliance controls into deployment pipelines
- Managing releases across development, test, staging and production environments
- Developing deployment plans, rollback strategies and release governance processes
- Acting as the primary SME for platform-related activities
- Leading troubleshooting, root cause analysis and platform optimisation initiatives
- Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and observabilit
