Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable 3.5T Van Drivers to join our client’s busy delivery operation in and around Luton. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a 3.5T Van Driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a professional team.
Location: LutonPay Rate: £13.45 per hourJob Type: Full-time, Temp to PermHours: Monday to Friday, starting between 5:00 am and 6:00 am No Weekends
The Role
As a 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing approximately 4050 multi-drop deliveriesof office supplies and stationaryper day to hospitality and business customers across Tottenham and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a 3.5T van to complete daily multi-drop deliveries of office supplies and stationary equipment.
Load your vehicle each morning, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care.
Deliver orders to hospitality and business customers in a professional and timely manner.
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and within agreed timescales.
Requirements
To be successful as a 3.5T Van Driver, you will need:
A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of the area and the surrounding areas.
To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
A reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach.
A smart and professional appearance.
