Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a forklift engineer – you will be working for a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.
Your responsibilities will include:Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipmentIdentifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issuesCarrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliantCompleting safety checks and pre-delivery inspectionsResponding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtimeEffectively organising and managing your workload and service scheduleAccurately filling out service reports and job sheetsCommunicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installedWhat you’ll need:Experience as a Forklift engineer is essential, due to location (you will be fully independent) Proven experience of diesel enginesStrong xwwtmva experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skillsFull UK driving licenceYour Package:Basic Salary: £33,000–£38,000OTE: £39,188–£45,125 (based on 5 hours’ overtime per week)OTE: £45,376–£52,250 (based on 10 hours’ overtime per week)Overtime paid at 1.5xCompany pension scheme25 days holiday plus bank (increasing with service) Company van fuel card provided……
