TeacherActive works with a number of welcoming primary schools across Brecon and the surrounding areas and is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all primary key stages, supporting pupils in a range of classroom settings. Responsibilities may also include providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessonsProviding one-to-one or small group support to pupilsHelping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentAssisting with classroom preparation, resources, and activitiesEncouraging pupil participation and promoting positive behaviourWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum 6 months experience working with childrenExperience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.)A passion for supporting children’s learning and developmentIf you’re caring, reliable, and ready to make a difference in the classroom, we’d LOVE to hear from you!
