We’re seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Financial Controller who can combine strong financial control with commercial insight, partnering closely with the CEO, Board and investors to support the next stage of the company’s growth.
For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway towards Finance Director as the business continues to scale.
The Opportunity
The role will evolve across two key phases. xwwtmva
Phase 1 Strengthen the Finance Function
The foundations are already in place, so the focus is on refining and enhancing existing processes rather than leading a major transformation.
Key priorities will include:
- Optimising month-end and reporting processes
- Enhancing board reporting and financial commentary
- Improving MI, data quality and financial insight
- Strengthening controls and governance
- Owning the numbers and providing meaningful analysis to stakeholders
Phase 2 Drive Commercial Performance
- Business partnering across Sales, Operations and the wider leadership team
- Revenue, margin and profitability analysis
- Customer and contract profitability reviews
- Commercial modelling, pricing and investment appraisals
- Strategic support to the CEO, Board and PE investors
