Senior Account Manager / Business Development R&D and Innovation, City of London or rest of UK
We are working with a rapidly growing, market-leading consultancy in the R&D Tax Relief and innovation funding space, who are scaling their commercial team in the City of London. However, we can consider experienced R&D candidates across the whole of the UK.
This company is proudly offering higher base salaries and more attractive commission structures to the right people. Also, this is not a standard sales role. Our client is looking for commercially sharp, relationship-driven individuals who already have a network, understand how to open doors, and can build long-term client relationships at a senior level.
You will be responsible for building and developing your own portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, helping businesses unlock funding and tax relief linked to innovation, growth and investment. This is a role for someone who wants to move quickly, build something of their own, and be rewarded properly for doing so.
What you will be doing:
Building and developing a portfolio of clients across sectors investing in innovation and growth
Identifying and creating new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
Owning relationships end-to-end, from initial conversation through to ongoing account development
Working closely with delivery and compliance teams to ensure a smooth and high-quality client experience
Operating with a high level of autonomy, accountability and commercial focus
Using data and performance metrics to track and improve results
