Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast-growing, family-run business in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant or experienced part-qualified/finalist to take on a varied role within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, improving processes and providing meaningful insight to support business growth.
The Role:Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flowSupporting annual budgeting and forecastingProviding variance analysis and financial insight to support decision-makingAnalysing and managing costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and profitabilityMonitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock valuation/reportingManaging month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliationsSupporting strong financial controls and complianceAssisting with VAT returns and other financial requirementsSupporting improvements to financial systems and processesWorking collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider businessYou’ll ideally have:CIMA/ACCA qualification or be at a later stage of your studiesStrong stock/inventory management experienceExperience within a manufacturing or distribution environment would be advantageousExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced SME environmentA proactive approach and willingness to contribute to process improvementsWhat’s on Offer?Opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial business where you will have genuine exposure to the wider operation and the opportunity to develop your career alongside an experienced finance teamDay off for your birthdayFlexible working hoursCareer development opportunitySupportive, family orientated environmentIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Management Accountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’. xwwtmva
