Our client specialises in vehicle and plant repairs, maintenance and fleet management. They partner with some of the UK’s most recognised names. They are currently recruiting for a qualified (nvq 3 essential) and experienced Workshop Vehicle Technician, based in London E16. Mainly working on light commercial vehicles. This is a small workshop and can be a standalone role
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work.
* Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers.
* Calculating the expected time for repairs.
* Repairing or replacing components as required.
* Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose.
* Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, towbars and reverse cameras.
* Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.
* Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required.
* Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
* To carry out quality checks on all technician’s work and discuss findings.
* When requested visit off site locations and carry out safety guidelines are adhered to both personal and team health and well-being is kept in mind.
* Other duties as assigned.
Monday to Friday full time permanent role. xwwtmva Basic salary up to £41,000 per annum and after successful probationary period you then become eligible for their quarterly bonuses.
