The RoleServicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipmentDiagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsCarrying out LOLER inspectionsCompleting detailed safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI)Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise customer downtimeCompleting service reports, job sheets and all relevant compliance documentation accuratelyLiaising with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and fittedWhat We’re Looking ForExperience required: Forklift Engineer, Plant Fitter, Agricultural technician, HGV technicianStrong knowledge and hands-on experience with diesel enginesExcellent diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience working with electrical and hydraulic systemsExperience or knowledge of LOLER inspections would be desirableThe ideal candidate will have a strong track record of longevity and stability in previous positions, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career with one organisation. xwwtmva Full UK driving licencePackage:Basic Salary: £31,000 – £38,000OTE: £36,811 – £45,124 per year (5 hrs ot a week)Overtime is paid at 1.5x, with lots availableCompany van with fuel card providedCompany pension, holiday allowance and other benefits
