Are you a Mechanical Engineer / Field Service Fitter who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving and travelling to customer sites?
Escape Recruitment is working with an established engineering business that is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing service team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of technically interesting projects while receiving ongoing training and genuine long-term career development.
This role offers plenty of variety, with time spent installing, commissioning, servicing and fault finding on specialist mechanical equipment at customer sites throughout the UK.
The Role
Installing and commissioning mechanical equipment on customer sitesCarrying out planned maintenance and repairsMechanical fault finding and diagnosisConducting site inspections and producing survey reportsReading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentationWorking closely with customers and colleagues to deliver projects safely and efficientlyTravelling throughout the UK, including regular overnight staysSupporting workshop activities when required
What We’re Looking For
A recognised Mechanical ApprenticeshipCity & Guilds or equivalent Mechanical qualificationStrong mechanical fitting and maintenance experienceExcellent fault-finding skillsFull UK Driving LicenceA flexible approach to travelling and staying xwwtmva away when required
