A leading plastics manufacturing business, providing a range of specialist engineering services, is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager to join their team.
Monday – Thursday | 10-hour shiftsSalary dependent on experience
As the senior member of staff on site during the shift, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Moulding Division, overseeing people, production, problem-solving and process efficiency. The role will also involve hands-on Injection Moulding Technician duties, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the shift.
As an Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager, your duties will include:
- Management of the mouldshop and packaging/assembly teams
- Setting up production runs to works orders across all moulding machines, ensuring the agreed production schedule is achieved with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and a ‘right first time’ approach
- Tool changing and setting xwwtmva mould tools in machines
- Conducting tool trials, process optimisation and effective fault finding / troubleshooting
- Monitoring production quality and identifying and reporting any quality concerns at the earliest opportunity
