Van Driver

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Location: Omagh branch – 49 Dromore Road, Omagh, BT78 1RB

Reporting to: Branch Manager

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to play a key role in our business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Job summary / Role and Responsibilities

• Picking and delivery of goods to multiple customer locations across the route network.
• Adhere to pre agreed cut off times.
• Collection of goods for return from customers.
• Be well organised with a professional attitude towards customer service and good time management skills.
• Responsible for allocated company vehicle, ensuring it is safe and meets all regulatory standards.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects to your Branch Manager.
• Assist store/warehouse operatives when not driving.
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested by Supervisor/Branch Manager.
• Comply with Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required Health and Safety protocols.
• Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave and any other relevant processes.

Essential Criteria

• Must be 25 years or above (insurance purposes)
• Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence for 2 years or more
• Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.
• Able to read and write fluently.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a fast-paced distribution/business to business multidrop environment.
