- Your new role Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring stock availability, managing supplier relationships, and sourcing products from both existing and new suppliers worldwide.Key responsibilities will include:Identifying short and long-term stock requirementsManaging inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply to customersNegotiating pricing, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliersBuilding and maintaining strong supplier relationships across international marketsSourcing new products based on customer requirementsIdentifying new product opportunities in line with market trendsCoordinating inbound logistics and haulage arrangements where requiredWorking closely with internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential: - Previous experience within an FMCG environmentStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and ERP systemsA reliable, organised and highly confidential approach to workExcellent attention to detail and accuracyDesirable:Previous experience within the food industry
