Financial Accounting Leader | Hybrid, UK GAAP & Audit Readiness

The University of Surrey is seeking an experienced Head of Financial Accounting to join its Finance Leadership Team on a permanent basis. You will ensure timely delivery of financial accounting and reporting in line with UK GAAP, reporting to the Financial Controller and overseeing a small team.

You will lead month-end and year-end close, coordinate external audits, manage cashflow and drive process improvements across the function, while partnering with senior stakeholders to support budgeting
