Senior Storage & Backup Specialist – Financial Services

Strong on enterprise backup and storage? Join a leading financial services organisation and help protect critical business data across EMEA and international Securities operations.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside the Head of Storage, shape technology roadmaps and keep essential infrastructure secure, resilient and available.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and enhance enterprise backup and storage systems
• Improve backup reliability, oversee data retention and deliver timely restores
• Drive automation, capacity planning and disaster recovery readiness
• Provide technical expertise, mentor colleagues and deputise for the Head of Storage when required

What we’re looking for:

• At least five years’ enterprise backup experience, including Dell EMC NetWorker and Rubrik
• Hands-on knowledge of EMC Unity, Isilon and Elastic Cloud Storage
• Experience with Cisco SAN switches and Kemp load balancers
• A focus on service reliability, security and operational controls
• Broader Windows, VMware and Active Directory experience would be advantageous

Please note this position is based in the City of London, and requires being in the office 4 days a week.
