Interim Financial Controller

We are partnering with a growing and highly regarded international investment management business to appoint a Financial Controller to its London-based finance team. This is a broad regional opportunity offering exposure to senior stakeholders, multiple European entities and a range of financial reporting, regulatory and commercial responsibilities within a professional and evolving finance environment.

With responsibility spanning multiple European entities, the role offers genuine variety, visibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the continued development of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Coordinate statutory accounts and external audits.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Manage regulatory reporting and VAT compliance.
• Supervise billing processes and outsourced finance providers.
• Maintain financial controls and support process improvements.
• Provide financial insight to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ post-qualified experience, or equivalent.
• Background in financial services, ideally investment management.
• Strong financial reporting and control experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and budgeting.
• Excellent Excel, analytical and communication skills.
