Digital Challenge Officer

We’re recruiting an interim Digital Challenges Officer (12m) for a leading national health charity. You will deliver exceptional experience for supporters taking part in online fundraising challenges.

The role:

• You will join a supportive, collaborative team with exciting ambitions.
• You will keep supporters motivated, confident and well supported throughout their journey, using proactive communication, tailored stewardship and high-quality care to meet or exceed engagement and income targets.
• Develop insight-led communications and personalised engagement strategies that improve the supporter experience, strengthen loyalty and contribute to sustainable fundraising growth.
• Analyse campaign and supporter data, optimise supporter journeys, improve campaign performance and maximise income.
• Deliver day-to-day operational and project work consistently to a high standard
• Plan and deliver projects within agreed timescales and resources.
• Work constructively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals, address challenges and contribute to well-planned projects and working groups.

The Candidate:

• Experience of managing digital fundraising activity, across multiple channels or products.
• Knowledge of Meta-led fundraising products and experience of designing, testing and optimising supporter journeys that balance an excellent experience with fundraising objectives.
• Experience of developing insight-led creative content and communications.
• Experience of monitoring and reporting on live activity, identifying trends and recommending practical improvements.
• Experience of multi-channel marketing, including digital, social, influencer, email and offline activity, to drive fundraising and engagement.
• Working knowledge of fundraising regulation, safeguarding and data protection requirements, including UK GDPR.
