Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Surrey
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, covering a localised portfolio of commercial sites across the Surrey and Merton areas. What you’ll do:
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
- Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, and associated building services.
- Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Carry out routine inspections, testing, and minor electrical works to ensure systems remain safe and fully operational.
- Support general building services maintenance and assist with remedial works where required.
- Travel between localised sites across Surrey and Merton, ensuring maintenance requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Testing & Inspection qualification, ideally 2391 or equivalent.
- Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to mobile maintenance.
