Our high-performing Human Resources team is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded HR Business Partner. This is a key partnering role within our Contract Logistics business, where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver people strategies that support business performance, change and transformation.
You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening the partnership between HR and the business, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice while supporting strategic projects and initiatives across our Contract Logistics operations.
The role requires a willingness to travel across the UK, supporting multiple Contract Logistics operations and building strong relationships across the business.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing Human Resources team, working within a defined HR Business Partner model and collaborating closely with our Centres of Excellence.
Reporting to the Head of HR – Contract Logistics, you’ll partner with the business to deliver strategic people initiatives across areas including:
- New business mobilisation and implementation
- Reward and employee engagement
- Organisational change and transformation
- Performance management
- Talent management and succession planning
- Employee relations
- TUPE and associated change activity
You’ll work closely with Business Unit Directors and General Managers, providing trusted and commercially focused HR advice. You’ll challenge and influence stakeholders to consider both the risks and opportunities associated with their decisions, helping to develop pragmatic, sustainable and commercially viable solutions for our sites.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a commercially driven and confident HR professional who brings a dynamic, innovative and solutions-focused approach. You’ll be someone who proactively builds strong relationships with senior business leaders and is comfortable operating as a true HR partner, rather than simply providing an advisory service.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, transformative environment and be confident navigating complex people challenges, influencing stakeholders and delivering through change. You’ll have significant experience of TUPE, organisational change and leading strategic HR projects, alongside strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
Ideally, you’ll bring proven HRBP experience within a third-party logistics, transportation or similarly complex operational environment, with a strong understanding of the commercial and people challenges associated with a contract-led business. You’ll also have experience of working across the wider talent agenda and be confident partnering with senior leaders to identify and develop solutions that support both business performance and our people.
