A growing planning consultancy is looking to bring an experienced Senior Planner into its Nottingham team.
n
This is a role for someone who wants a little more ownership, a varied workload and the opportunity to work closely with clients rather than simply being another pair of hands within a large team.
The rolen
You’ll take the lead on a variety of planning instructions, including:

- n
- Managing planning applications from inception through to determination
- Providing planning and development advice to clients
- Preparing planning appraisals and policy assessments
- Liaising with local authorities and other consultants
- Attending meetings and site visits
- Supporting more junior members of the team
- Building and maintaining client relationships

Who would suit this?n
We’re looking for someone with around 4+ years’ UK planning experience, ideally gained within a private consultancy.
n
You should be confident managing your own workload, comfortable dealing directly with clients and have a solid understanding of planning policy and the wider development process.
n
MRTPI or working towards chartership would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
