Planning Consultant – Bristol | £38,000–£48,000

We’re currently recruiting for a Planning Consultant to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol.
n
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, with exposure to residential, commercial and strategic development schemes throughout the South West.
n
The role:

- n

Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications
- n
Provide planning advice to private and public sector clients
- n
Undertake planning policy research and site assessments
- n
Prepare planning statements and supporting documents
- n
Liaise with local planning authorities and external consultants
- n
Manage multiple projects and contribute to wider team objectives
n
n

n
About you:
n
- n
- n
2–4 years’ UK planning experience
- n
Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- n
Good understanding of the UK planning system
- n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
- n
Consultancy or local authority experience desirable
- n
RTPI membership or working towards MRTPI would be advantageous
n
