A well-established planning consultancy is looking to strengthen its Leeds team with the appointment of an experienced Principal Town Planner.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded planner who enjoys taking ownership of projects, building strong client relationships and playing a key role in the continued growth of a consultancy.

The Opportunityn

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of projects, providing strategic planning advice, managing applications and appeals, and working closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.

There will also be opportunities to help develop new business, contribute to the wider team and mentor more junior planners.

About Youn

n
• Strong experience within private-sector planning consultancy

n

• Ideally 8+ years’ UK planning experience

n

• Excellent knowledge of the planning system and relevant policy

n

• Experience managing complex planning projects

n

• Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders

n

• Strong commercial and business development skills

n

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership

n
