Overview
In this role you lead quality management for a large data centre construction project in the Nordics. You will act as the interface between the Client and Contractors’ Quality Teams, guiding the Arcadis quality group and ensuring alignment with Owner specifications. The role includes planning, on-site leadership, and coordinating both on-site and off-site quality activities, with potential international travel to Finland or Norway. You will shape a culture of Quality and drive timely, compliant project handovers, delivering value to the client and project team.
Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Management for the project and liaise between client and contractor quality teams
- Direct the Arcadis quality team on site and ensure timely recording of quality events and benchmarks
- Develop and deliver the overall Quality Management Plan in line with owner specifications
- Communicate quality specs to service providers, manufacturers, integrators, contractors and the commissioning agent
- Plan and oversee Factory Witness Testing and off-site quality activities
- Ensure stakeholders are trained and compliant with defined processes
- Verify contractors’ Quality Control plans meet contract requirements
- Manage construction documentation and test packs through the EDM system
- Oversee trade-to-trade handovers in line with the project IMS
- Promote a Quality culture through induction for all operatives including integrator contractors
Key requirements
- Extensive experience as a Quality Manager on major construction projects
- Experience on data centre/technology projects preferred but not essential
- Experience in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments
