Civil Design Engineer (international Projects and Stadia)

Overview

In this role you will deliver drainage and utilities designs for major international developments, supporting projects across the Middle East. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to translate client requirements into robust designs, leveraging specialist software. The position offers exposure to landmark infrastructure and high-profile developments from London, with a hybrid working setup. You will contribute to technically challenging schemes and help ensure compliance with regional standards while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drainage and utilities designs for complex international developments
• Prepare drainage strategies, calculations and technical reports
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and design information
• Use Civil 3D together with InfoDrainage and/or HydroCAD
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Liaise with clients and project stakeholders
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, regional standards and industry best practice

Key requirements

• 4–8 years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy
• Strong background in drainage and utilities design
• Proficient in Civil 3D
• Experience using InfoDrainage and/or HydroCAD
• Experience working on infrastructure or development projects
• Previous exposure to large-scale commercial, mixed-use or infrastructure schemes would be advantageous
• Middle East project experience is beneficial but not essential
