Site Agent/ Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead on-site delivery for a major water treatment civil project, ensuring quality, safety, and cost targets are met. You will collaborate with contract, engineering, and commercial teams to maintain customer satisfaction while delivering to programme. The role combines strong site leadership with risk and procurement awareness to maximise contract performance. Responsibilities

• Oversee successful delivery of multiple Civil and Water sector projects
• Ensure work meets specified quality and is defect-free
• Lead Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen to deliver safely and to standard
• Produce and implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITP, and Waste Management Plans as required
• Maximise contract commercial performance
• Develop construction programme and 2-week look-ahead
• Create procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement for resources

Key requirements

• Experience as Site Agent or on large civil works within a contractor
• Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, cost control including forecasting and reporting
• Understanding of civil engineering specifications and testing regimes
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• CSCS
• IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
• Temporary Works Coordinator
• Confined space training
• Strong communication and team management
