Electrical Engineer

Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Arcadis, you will design electrical systems for buildings, contributing to smart, safe, and sustainable places. You’ll work within the Places Design Practice on projects spanning industries like Industrial Manufacturing, Defence, and Education. You’ll deliver precise drawings, specs, and reports, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet budget, timeframe, and quality targets. Your work will help shape how spaces people live, work, and learn are designed and operated. Responsibilities

• Work on technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and project documentation
• Ensure activities meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate the overall design
• Contribute to resolution of technical issues under supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Interface design elements with the client

Key requirements

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Evidence of working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Previous experience designing electrical systems within buildings
• Understanding of how design elements interface with the client
