Senior IC Test Engineer

Overview

In this role you will develop and optimise semiconductor test solutions for wafer and package testing, spanning from early silicon evaluation to mass production. You will work with cross-functional teams to assess new IC designs and support offshore OSAT sites to sustain quality and efficiency. You’ll drive test programmes to improve yield and reduce testing time, while contributing to design and qualification activities. Responsibilities

• Develop hardware and software test solutions for wafer and package testing
• Collaborate with design, product, validation, and applications teams to evaluate new IC designs
• Support Design for Test (DFT), characterisation, reliability, and qualification testing
• Deploy and support test solutions at offshore manufacturing sites
• Optimise test programmes to improve yield, reduce test time, and increase manufacturing efficiency
• Participate in design and test review meetings and provide technical reporting

Key requirements

• Strong experience in semiconductor ATE testing
• Experience with Advantest V93000 (preferred)
• Background in high-speed mixed-signal IC testing
• Knowledge of high-speed PCB design and schematic development
• Experience supporting offshore test or production environments
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
